A @fedora @teamsilverblue observation: It's easier to run rpm-ostree upgrade from the terminal and then shut down for the night than to do the updates from GNOME Software, reboot and then have to shut down after that.

The Vertical Overview Extension makes GNOME Shell weird again. Also more efficient.

Part of GNOME Shell's 'secret sauce' is mousing to the hot corner to bring up the apps dock on the left. GNOME 40+ moved the dock on the bottom, which is awkward for hot-corner users. I set up a Ruby development environment in a @fedora Toolbox. This is a great way to work in Linux. I added > 100 packages to the toolbox, and I can dump it and start over without affecting the main system.
